Hey there! We are the Driftwoods Family: Matt, Gina, Caliper Kid and Purple Pixie.* We are a Canadian family with a passion for travel and adventure. Matt and I started traveling right after university and never stopped! That travel bug kept us going even after we started our family. We believe that travel with kids is the best kind of travel! We are also kind of obsessed with the outdoors, especially the mountains and the sea! If you can’t find us, we are probably out somewhere either hiking or sailing in this wonderful, awesome world!
We are not a full time traveling family, but we take every opportunity we have to pack a bag and find adventures. No matter where we may be, we always find a way to get off the beaten path and… we ALWAYS find the hiking trails!
Although we love the excitement of international travel, we also love exploring our own country of Canada. Whether it be the peaceful joy of sailing the Pacific Coast and the beautiful lakes of Ontario, or finding the best hiking trails this country has to offer…we love exploring our own backyard!
